     He lived at Dromkeen, County Limerick, IrelandG.1 His last will was dated 6 December 1734.1

     Sir Richard Wolseley, 1st Bt. was born in February 1696.2 He is the son of Richard Wolseley and Frances Burneston.3 He married, firstly, Anne Smith on 25 February 1722/23.2 He married, secondly, Alice Molyneux, daughter of Sir Thomas Molyneux, 1st Bt. and Katherine Howard, on 5 May 1727.2 He died on 8 April 1769 at age 73.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Carlow in 1727.2 He was created 1st Baronet Wolseley, of Mount Wolseley, co. Carlow [Ireland] on 19 January 1744/45.3 He lived at Mount Wolseley, County Carlow, Ireland.3
