     Sir Edward Turner, 1st Bt. was baptised on 6 October 1691.¹ He was the son of John Turner and Elizabeth Caplin.² He married Mary Page, daughter of Sir Gregory Page, 1st Bt. and Mary Trotman, in May 1718.¹ He died on 19 June 1735 at age 43.¹
     He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn.¹ He was Director and Chairman of the Honourable East India Company Service.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Turner, of Ambrosden, co. Oxford [Great Britain] on 24 August 1733.¹

     Joseph Turner was the son of John Turner and Elizabeth Caplin.² He died, young.¹

     Samuel Turner was the son of John Turner and Elizabeth Caplin.² He died, young.¹

     William Turner was the son of John Turner and Elizabeth Caplin.² He died, without issue.¹
     He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1721 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹

     Robert Hirst lived at Durford Mill, Petersfield, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Elizabeth Turner is the daughter of John Turner and Elizabeth Caplin.²

     Mary Page was the daughter of Sir Gregory Page, 1st Bt. and Mary Trotman.¹ She married Sir Edward Turner, 1st Bt., son of John Turner and Elizabeth Caplin, in May 1718.¹ She died on 5 February 1723.¹
     From May 1718, her married name became Turner.
