Annie Elizabeth Mann was the daughter of Reverend F. W. Mann.1 She married, secondly, Sir Havilland Walter de Sausmarez, 1st and last Bt., son of Reverend Havilland de Sausmarez and Anne Priaulx Walters, on 9 April 1896.1 She died on 16 March 1947.1
She was awarded the Medaille de la Reine Elisabeth.2 She was appointed Dame Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.)1 From 9 April 1896, her married name became de Sausmarez.1 She was president and honorary secretary of the British Women's Work Association in China during the First World War.1

Sir Havilland Walter de Sausmarez, 1st and last Bt. was born on 30 May 1861.1 He was the son of Reverend Havilland de Sausmarez and Anne Priaulx Walters.2 He married, firstly, Dora Beatrice Mann, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Gother Frederick Mann and Margaret Macleod Baynes, on 2 June 1892.1 He married, secondly, Annie Elizabeth Mann, daughter of Reverend F. W. Mann, on 9 April 1896.2 He died on 5 March 1941 at age 79, without issue.1
He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1883 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1884 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He was with the Foreign Office Judicial Service in 1892.2 He held the office of Assistant Judge [Zanzibar] in 1892.1 He held the office of Assistant Judge of the Supreme Consular Court for the Ottoman Empire between 1898 and 1903.2 He held the office of Judge of the Supreme Consular Court for the Ottoman Empire between 1903 and 1905.2 He was appointed Knight in 1905.1 He held the office of Judge of the Supreme Court for China between 1905 and 1921.2 He held the office of President of the Court of Appeal [Hong Kong] between 1912 and 1920.2 He held the office of Bailiff of Guernsey between 1922 and 1929.2 He was awarded the honorary degree of Docteur of Law by University of Caen, Caen, FranceG, in 1927.1 He was created 1st Baronet de Sausmarez, of Jerburg, Seigneur of the fief de Sausmarez and Châtelain de Jerburg [U.K.] on 26 June 1928.2 On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.2

Maj.-Gen. Gother Frederick Mann was born on 13 December 1817 at Montreal, Ontario, Canada.2 He was the son of Colonel Frederick William Mann and Martha Dobrée.2 He married Margaret Macleod Baynes, daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Baynes and Henrietta le Marchant, on 24 September 1845 at Guernsey, Channel Islands.2 He died on 2 March 1881 at age 63 at Upper Norwood, London, England.2
