     Martha Cooke was the daughter of Thomas Cooke and Dorothy Sheilds.2 She married Reverend William Collis, son of John Collis and Elizabeth Cooke, on 22 November 1750.1 She died on 25 May 1754.1
     From 22 November 1750, her married name became Collis.

     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 61st Regiment.1 He fought in the Battle of Talavera.1 He fought in the Battle of Salamanca, where he had both eyes shot out.1
