     Anna Murray was the daughter of William Murray, 1st of Dunerne and Marjorie Schaw.1,2 A contract for the marriage of Anna Murray and Hon. Sir William Hay was signed from 9 November 1618 to 18 November 1618.3 She died circa October 1658.3 She was buried in October 1658.3
     From from 9 November 1618 to 18 November 1618, her married name became Hay.

     Sir Francis Scott of Thirlestone, 1st Bt. was born on 11 May 1645.2 He was the son of Patrick Scott of Tanlawhill and Isabel Murray.2 A contract for the marriage of Sir Francis Scott of Thirlestone, 1st Bt. and Lady Henrietta Kerr was signed on 27 November 1673.2 He died on 7 March 1712 at age 66.2
     He was created 1st Baronet Scott, of Thirlestane [Nova Scotia] on 22 August 1666.2

     General Lord James Hay was born on 23 March 1788.1 He was the son of George Hay, 7th Marquess of Tweeddale and Lady Hannah Charlotte Maitland.1 He married Elizabeth Forbes, daughter of James Forbes, on 18 August 1813.1 He died on 18 August 1862 at age 74.1
     He was Colonel of the 86th Foot.1
