     John Chevers was the son of Christopher Chevers and Eleanor Nugent.2 He married Mary Bealings, daughter of Sir Henry Bealings.1 He married Joan Sutton, daughter of Edward Sutton.3 He died in 1688.3
     He was dispossessed of Macetown by Oliver Cromwell and transplanted to Connaught.1 He lived at Macetown, County Meath, IrelandG.1 In 1667 he petitioned King Charles II at the Restoration to be restored to the lands and afterwards obtained a grant in the Barony of Killyan.1
