     Elizabeth Burnside was the daughter of John Burnside.2 A settlement for the marriage between her and William Chartres was made on 14 September 1767.1 She died in 1799.1
     From 14 September 1767, her married name became Chartres.

     He gained the rank of Captain in the 54th Regiment (West Norfolk.)1 He fought in the Battle of Waterloo in 1815.1
