     William Payne Georges was born on 3 July 1790 at St. Marylebone, London, England.² He was the son of William Payne Georges and Ruth Hodge.² He married Julia Ann Tupper, daughter of Commander Carré Tupper and Adery Barfoot Colton, on 24 December 1809 at St. Marylebone, London, England.²

     Julia Adery Georges was born on 2 December 1810 at St. Marylebone, London, England.² She was the daughter of William Payne Georges and Julia Ann Tupper.^3,2 She married Admiral John Carter, son of Thomas Carter and Catherine Butler, in 1833.¹ She died in 1868.¹
     From 1833, her married name became Carter.

     John Henry Stockmar Carter was born on 30 March 1834.¹ He was the son of Admiral John Carter and Julia Adery Georges.² He died on 2 May 1855 at age 21 at Sebastopol, Russia^G, killed in the trenches.¹

     Arthur Butler Carter was born on 22 April 1872.¹ He was the son of William Henry Carter and Louisa Le Mesurier.² He died on 18 July 1872.¹

     George Herbert Carter was born on 21 October 1873.¹ He was the son of William Henry Carter and Louisa Le Mesurier.²
