     Brig.-Gen. Cyril Francis de Sales Murphy was born on 17 May 1882 at Cork, County Cork, Ireland.1,2 He was the son of Jerome J. Murphy and Mary Cagney.3 He married Marguerite Nagle, daughter of Garrett Thomas Nagle, in 1926.1 He died on 7 January 1961 at age 78, without issue.1
     He was educated at Beaumont College, Old Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of between 1914 and 1919 in the Royal Flying Corps.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He was awarded the Officer de Croix de Couronne.1 He retired from the military in 1919, with the rank of Brigadier-General.1 He was with the National Institute of Agriculture and Botany between 1922 and 1927.1 He fought in the Second World War, with the Royal Air Force (Air Ministry.)1 He was with the National Institute of Agriculture and Botany between 1944 and 1947.1 He lived at The Bridge, Banagher, County Offaly, IrelandG.1 He lived at 3 Chesham Street, London, EnglandG.1

     Captain Gilbert Nagle was born circa 1895.1 He was the son of Garrett Thomas Nagle and Marcella Harold-Barry.1 He died on 5 July 1917, killed in action.1
     He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He gained the rank of Captain and Adjutant in the Royal Sussex Regiment.1 He fought in the First World War.1

     Cuthbert Morgan Murphy was born in 1886.1 He was the son of Jerome J. Murphy and Mary Cagney.2 He married, firstly, Audrey Carrol.1 He and Audrey Carrol were divorced.1 He died on 16 April 1975.1
     He was educated at Beaumont College, Old Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He gained the rank of Squadron-Commander in the Naval Wing, Royal Flying Corps.1 He lived at California, U.S.A.G.1

     Patricia Dorothea Murphy also went by the nick-name of Patsy.1 From 28 February 1940, her married name became Lindsell.
