     Henrietta Francisca Sichel was the daughter of S. B. Sichel.1 She married Joseph Mayer Montefiore, son of Sir Abraham Montefiore and Henriette Rothschild, on 1 February 1860.1 She died on 14 January 1915.1
     From 1 February 1860, her married name became Montefiore.1

     Nathaniel Montefiore was born on 24 September 1819 at Brighton, Sussex, England.1 He was the son of Sir Abraham Montefiore and Henriette Rothschild.1 He married Emma Goldsmid, daughter of Sir Isaac Lyon Goldsmid, 1st Bt. and Isabel Beila Goldsmid, on 7 May 1850 at London, England.1 He died on 28 March 1883 at age 63 at 18 Portman Square, London, England.1
     He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at 18 Portman Square, London, EnglandG.1 He lived at Coldeast, Hampshire, EnglandG.1

     Claude Joseph Goldsmid Montefiore was born in 1858.1 He was the son of Nathaniel Montefiore and Emma Goldsmid.1 He married, firstly, Thérèse Alice Schorstein, daughter of Lazar Schorstein, on 12 October 1886.1 He married, secondly, Florence Fyfe Brereton Ward, daughter of Richard James Ward, on 24 July 1902.1 He died on 9 July 1938.1
     He was given the name of Claude Joseph Montefiore at birth.1 He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 On 22 February 1883 his name was legally changed to Claude Joseph Goldsmid Montefiore by Royal Licence.1 He was president of the Anglo-Jewish Association between 1896 and 1921.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Divinity (D.D.) by Manchester University, Manchester, Lancashire, EnglandG.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Letters (D.Litt.) by Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of President of University College of Southampton between 1915 and 1934.1
