     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Emmanuel College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry.1 He gained the rank of Second World War.1 He adopted Myra Anne Heywood.1

     Julia Veronica Cronin was the daughter of John Denis Cronin.2 She married Charles Bernard Mark Heywood, son of Rt. Rev. Bernard Oliver Francis Heywood and Marion Maude Lemprière, on 13 December 1941.1 She died in 1977.1
     From 13 December 1941, her married name became Heywood. She adopted Myra Anne Heywood.1

     From February 1951, her married name became Lyall. She was adopted by Charles Bernard Mark Heywood and Julia Veronica Cronin.1 From 19 June 1964, her married name became Rose.1
