     Reverend Thomas Hay was born on 14 April 1759.¹ He was the son of Hon. Edward Hay and Mary Flower.¹ He married Anne Bragge, daughter of Thomas Bragge, on 1 May 1786.¹ He died on 29 January 1830 at age 70, without issue.¹
