     Daisy Finola Meeking was born on 9 September 1896 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.2 She was the daughter of Captain Bertram Charles Christopher Spencer Meeking and Viola Charlotte Heboher Fletcher.3,2 She married Arthur Herbert Tennyson Cocks, 6th Lord Sommers, Baron of Evesham, son of Herbert Haldane Somers Cocks and Blanche Margaret Standish Clogstoun, on 20 April 1921.1 She died on 6 October 1981 at Ledbury, Herefordshire, England.2
     Daisy Finola Meeking also went by the nick-name of Daisy.1 From 20 April 1921, her married name became Cocks. She was Chief Commissioner of the Girl Guides Association between 1943 and 1949.1 She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1950.1

Elizabeth Violet Virginia Cocks was born on 24 October 1922.1 She was the daughter of Arthur Herbert Tennyson Cocks, 6th Lord Sommers, Baron of Evesham and Daisy Finola Meeking.2 She married Major Benjamin Alexander Frederick Hervey-Bathurst, son of Sir Frederick Edward William Hervey-Bathurst, 5th Bt. and Katharine Mary Delicia Dick-Cunyngham, on 28 February 1947.1 She died in 1986.2
     She gained the rank of 3rd Officer in the Women's Royal Naval Service.1 From 28 February 1947, her married name became Hervey-Bathurst.

     Major Benjamin Alexander Frederick Hervey-Bathurst was born on 27 March 1920.2 He was the son of Sir Frederick Edward William Hervey-Bathurst, 5th Bt. and Katharine Mary Delicia Dick-Cunyngham.2 He married, firstly, Hon. Elizabeth Violet Virginia Cocks, daughter of Arthur Herbert Tennyson Cocks, 6th Lord Sommers, Baron of Evesham and Daisy Finola Meeking, on 28 February 1947.1 He married, secondly, Anne Garnier, daughter of Reverend Thomas Vernon Garnier and Helen Stenhouse, in 1992.3 He died on 18 October 1997 at age 77.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War, |where he was mentioned in despatches twice and was wounded.2 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1940 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He gained the rank of Major in the Grenadier Guards and Special Forces.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Herefordshire in 1967.2 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1985.2
