     General Richard O'Donovan, The O'Donovan was born in 1768.1 He was the son of Daniel O'Donovan, The O'Donovan and Jane Becher.1 He married Emma Ann Powell, daughter of Robert Powell.1 He died in November 1829, without issue.1
     He held the position of Chief of the Clan Cathal from in 1778.1 He gained the rank of General in the 6th Dragoons.1 He fought in the Napoleonic Wars, in campaigns in Flanders and Spain.1

     Morgan William O'Donovan, The O'Donovan was born on 21 August 1796.1 He was the son of Reverend Morgan O'Donovan, The O'Donovan and Alicia Jones.1 He married Susanna Creed, daughter of William Armstrong Creed, on 2 July 1844.1 He died on 16 December 1870 at age 74.1
     He was a practising Barrister-at-Law.1 He held the position of Chief of the Clan Cathal from on 17 October 1839.1
