Swaysland, on 8 March 1856.2 He married, secondly, Meynella Katherine Hilda Wood, daughter of Frederick A. P. Wood, on 18 April 1882.2 He died on 2 February 1903 at age 68.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Grenadier Guards.1
