     David Eustace Martindale Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes was born on 7 March 1916.1 He was the son of Gerard Yorke Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes and Gwendolen Gisborne.2 He died on 7 July 1986 at age 70 at Banbury, Oxfordshire, England, unmarried.1,3
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1937 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Malayan Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society of Arts (F.R.S.A.)1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1964 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1964.1
