Robert King, 1st and last Baron Kingsborough1

     Robert King, 1st and last Baron Kingsborough was baptised on 18 February 1724.2 He was the son of Sir Henry King, 3rd Bt. and Isabella Wingfield.1 He died on 22 May 1755 at age 31, unmarried.2
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet King, of Boyle Abbey, co. Roscommon on 1 January 1739/40.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Boyle between 1744 and 1748.2 He was created 1st Baron Kingsborough [Ireland] on 13 June 1748.2 He held the office of Grand Master of the Freemasons [Ireland] from 1749 to 1750.2 He held the office of Custos Rotulorum of County Roscommon.2 On his death, the Barony of Kingsborough became extinct.2

Isabella King1

     Isabella King was born on 2 August 1729. She was the daughter of Sir Henry King, 3rd Bt. and Isabella Wingfield.1 She married Thomas St. Lawrence, 1st Earl of Howth, son of William St. Lawrence, 14th Baron Howth and Lucy Gorges, on 17 November 1750.1 She died on 20 October 1794 at age 65.1
     After her marriage, Isabella King was styled as Baroness Howth on 17 November 1750. From 17 November 1750, her married name became St. Lawrence. After her marriage, Isabella King was styled as Countess of Howth on 3 September 1767.

     Thomas St. Lawrence, 1st Earl of Howth was born on 10 May 1730.2 He was the son of William St. Lawrence, 14th Baron Howth and Lucy Gorges.2 He married Isabella King, daughter of Sir Henry King, 3rd Bt. and Isabella Wingfield, on 17 November 1750.1 He died on 29 September 1801 at age 71.2
     He was educated in 1747 at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.2 He succeeded as the 15th Baron Howth [I., c. 1440] on 4 April 1748.2 He held the office of Bencher of King's Inn, Dublin in 1767.2 He was created 1st Earl of Howth [Ireland] on 3 September 1767.2 He was created 1st Viscount St. Lawrence [Ireland] on 3 September 1767.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] in 1768.2

     John Knox also went by the nick-name of Diamond Knox.2 He lived at Castlereagh, County Mayo, IrelandG.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)1

     Colonel Hon. Edward Wingfield was born on 2 August 1772.2 He was the son of Richard Wingfield, 3rd Viscount Powerscourt and Lady Amelia Stratford.1,2 He married Harriet Esther Westenra, daughter of Henry Westenra and Harriet Murray, on 17 April 1797.1 He died on 24 August 1859 at age 87.2
