     Lt.-Col. Thomas Drake was born on 19 February 1782 at Amersham, Buckinghamshire, England.2 He was the son of Reverend John Drake and Mary Wickham.1,2 He married Elizabeth Sarah Fane, daughter of John Fane and Lady Elizabeth Parker, on 21 December 1813 at Parish Church of St. Margaret of Antioch, Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, England.1,2 He died in 1851.1
     He was Deputy Quartermaster-General of the Mediterranean.1

     Colonel John Potter Hamilton was born in 1778.2 He married Charlotte Fane, daughter of John Fane and Lady Elizabeth Parker, on 28 December 1813.1 He died on 28 January 1873 at Wrexham, Denbighshire, Wales.2,3
     He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Scots Fusiliers.3 He was Commissioner to Colombia in 1823.3 He held the office of Ambassador to Colombia in 1825.3 He wrote the book Travels through the Interior Provinces of Colombia, published 1827.3 He wrote the book Reminiscences of an Old Sportsman, published 1860.3
