     Henry George Evelyn Vardon was the son of Henry Vardon and Mary Emeline Evelyn.2,3 He married Cecilia Laura Lenox-Conyngham, daughter of Reverend George Hugh Lenox-Conyngham and Barbara Josephine Turton, on 26 January 1918.2 He died on 19 March 1951.2
     Henry George Evelyn Vardon also went by the nick-name of Jack.4
