     Colonel Arnold William Rivers Currie was born on 25 July 1923.¹ He was the son of Major Disney Rivers Currie and Ethel Jeanette Bryce-Smith.² He married Daphne Valerie Helen Nash, daughter of Commander Reginald Nash, on 26 March 1960.¹ He died on 17 December 1973 at age 50.¹
