     Reverend James Joseph Myrton Cunynghame was born on 21 April 1832 at Milncraig, Ayrshire, Scotland.1,2 He was the son of Colonel Sir David Cunynghame of Milncraig, 5th Bt. and Gertrude Henrietta Kimpton.3 He married Annie Constance Lane, daughter of Thomas Lane, on 2 March 1871 at Milncraig, Ayrshire, Scotland.1,2 He died on 20 July 1885 at age 53.1
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He lived at Horseheath, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, the Rector.1

     Annie Constance Lane was the daughter of Thomas Lane.2 She married Reverend James Joseph Myrton Cunynghame, son of Colonel Sir David Cunynghame of Milncraig, 5th Bt. and Gertrude Henrietta Kimpton, on 2 March 1871 at Milncraig, Ayrshire, Scotland.1,3 She died in 1889.1
     From 2 March 1871, her married name became Cunynghame.1
