     Edwin Brooke Cely Trevilian was born on 11 May 1833 at Exeter, Devon, England.1,2 He was the son of Major Maurice Cely Trevilian and Charlotte Portal.1 He married Kate Sedley F. Carter in 1880 at Kensington, London, England.2 He died on 24 March 1914 at age 80.1
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Somerset in 1902.2 He lived at Midelney Place, Drayton, Somerset, England.2
