     Sir Samuel Egerton Leigh was born on 1 March 1770.1 He was the son of Sir Egerton Leigh, 1st Bt. and Mary Bremar.1 He married Catherine Greig, daughter of Alexander Greig, in 1793.1 He died on 11 December 1796 at age 26 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1,2
     He wrote the book Munster Abbey, a Romance: Interspersed with Reflections on Virtue and Morality.
