He died on 17 January 1862 at age 71 at Richmond, Virginia, U.S.A.^G. He was buried at Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia, U.S.A.^G.

     Letitia Christian was born on 12 November 1790 at Cedar Grove, New Kent County, Virginia, U.S.A.^G. She married John Tyler, son of John Tyler and Mary Marot Armistead, on 29 March 1813 at Cedar Grove, New Kent County, Virginia, U.S.A.^G. She died on 10 September 1842 at age 51 at White House, Washington, D.C., U.S.A.^G. She was buried at Cedar Grove Plantation, Virginia, U.S.A.^G.
     Her married name became Tyler.

     Mary Tyler was born on 15 April 1815 at Charles City County, Virginia, U.S.A.^G. She was the daughter of John Tyler and Letitia Christian. She married Henry Lightfoot Jones on 14 December 1835. She died on 17 June 1848 at age 33 at New Kent County, Virginia, U.S.A.^G.
     Her married name became Jones.

     Robert Tyler was born on 9 September 1816 at Charles City County, Virginia, U.S.A.^G. He was the son of John Tyler and Letitia Christian. He married Priscilla Elizabeth Cooper on 12 September 1839 at Bristol, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.^G. He died on 3 December 1877 at age 61 at Montgomery, Alabama, U.S.A.^G.

     John Tyler was born on 27 April 1819. He was the son of John Tyler and Letitia Christian. He married Martha Rochelle (?) on 25 October 1838. He died in 1896.

     Letitia Tyler was born on 11 May 1821. She was the daughter of John Tyler and Letitia Christian. She married James A. Semple in February 1839. She died on 28 December 1907 at age 86 at Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A.^G.
     Her married name became Semple.
