     Basil Richard Powys Patrick Jeremy Taylour was born on 5 October 1935.¹ He was the son of Basil Richard Henry Osgood Taylour and Gwendoline Edith Marion Evans.¹ He died on 9 September 1956 at age 20, following a shooting accident.¹
     He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Basil Richard Henry Osgood Taylour was born on 16 March 1904.¹ He was the son of Captain Basil Reginald Hamilton Taylour and Harriet Mary Osgood.¹ He married Gwendoline Edith Marion Evans, daughter of William Evans, on 5 January 1935.¹ He died in 1969.¹
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He was admitted to Gray's Inn in 1929 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He was solicitor for the Straits Settlement in 1934.¹

     Gwendoline Edith Marion Evans was the daughter of William Evans.¹ She married Basil Richard Henry Osgood Taylour, son of Captain Basil Reginald Hamilton Taylour and Harriet Mary Osgood, on 5 January 1935.¹ She died in 1975.¹
     From 5 January 1935, her married name became Taylour.¹
