     Francis Digby Spencer Neave was born on 20 April 1842 at Sherwaroy Hills, India.1,2 He was the son of William Augustus Neave and Anne Elizabeth Black.3 He married Eliza Marianne Cormack, daughter of Henry Cormack and Eliza Remington, on 21 October 1869.1 He died on 7 October 1913 at age 71 at Christchurch, New ZealandG.1,2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1
