     From 5 September 1998, her married name became Hewitt.

     Sir Joseph Hewitt, 1st Bt. was born on 14 October 1865.1 He was the son of Alfred Hewitt.2 He married Margaret Eliza Guest, daughter of George Guest, on 21 April 1891.1 He died on 8 February 1923 at age 57.1
     He was a practising solicitor.1 He was appointed Knight.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the West Riding, Yorkshire.1 He was a colliery-owner.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel.1 He was created 1st Baronet Hewitt, of Barnsley, West Riding of the County of York [U.K.] on 15 January 1921.1

     Sir Joseph Hewitt, 2nd Bt. was born on 8 September 1907.1 He was the son of Sir Joseph Hewitt, 1st Bt. and Margaret Eliza Guest.2 He married Marguerite Burgess, daughter of Charles Burgess, on 20 October 1940.1 He died on 1 October 1973 at age 66.1
     He was educated at Uppingham School, Uppingham, Rutland, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Hewitt, of Barnsley, West Riding of the County of York [U.K., 1921] on 8 February 1923.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Major in the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the Second World War.1
