     Eithne Moira Grattan Esmonde is the daughter of Sir Thomas Henry Grattan Esmonde, 11th Bt. and Alice Barbara Donovan.2 She married Sir Anthony Charles Esmonde, 15th Bt., son of John Joseph Esmonde and Rose Magennis, on 9 June 1927.1

Sir Anthony Charles Esmonde, 15th Bt.1

     Sir Anthony Charles Esmonde, 15th Bt. was born on 18 January 1899.1 He was the son of John Joseph Esmonde and Rose Magennis.2 He married Eithne Moira Grattan Esmonde, daughter of Sir Thomas Henry Grattan Esmonde, 11th Bt. and Alice Barbara Donovan, on 9 June 1927.1 He died in 1981.1
     He gained the rank of Surgeon-Lieutenant in 1921 in the Royal Navy.1 He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Surgeons, London (L.R.C.S.)1 He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.)1 He held the office of Member of the Dáil [Republic of Ireland] in 1951, County Wexford Dáil Eireann.1 He was awarded the Knight, Sovereign Military Order of Malta in 1957.1 He succeeded as the 15th Baronet Esmonde, of Ballynastragh, co. Wexford [I., 1629] on 6 July 1958.1

Lt.-Col. Sir Laurence Grattan Esmonde, 13th Bt.1

     Lt.-Col. Sir Laurence Grattan Esmonde, 13th Bt. was born on 3 November 1863.1 He was the son of Sir John Esmonde, 10th Bt. and Louisa Grattan.2 He married, firstly, Sarah May Spittall, daughter of Alexander John Spittall, on 12 December 1906.1 He married, secondly, Pauline Netterville, daughter of Joshua James Netterville and Hon. Mary Reddis Bridget Ellen Netterville, on 18 June 1928.1 He died on 1 February 1943 at age 79, without issue.1
     He was admitted to King's Inns, Dublin entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.1 He was Commandant of the South African Constabulary.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the 27th Northumberland Fusiliers (4th Battalion Tyneside Irish Brigade.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Waterford Royal Field Artillery.1 He was commander of the 10th and 11th Battalions, Royal Dublin Fusiliers which he raised.1 He succeeded as the 13th Baronet Esmonde, of Ballynastragh, co. Wexford [I., 1629] on 22 July 1936.1

     Sarah May Spittall was the daughter of Alexander John Spittall.2 She married Lt.-Col. Sir Laurence Grattan Esmonde, 13th Bt., son of Sir John Esmonde, 10th Bt. and Louisa Grattan, on 12 December 1906.1 She died on 11 October 1911.1
     From 12 December 1906, her married name became Esmonde.

Walter George Grattan Esmonde1

     Walter George Grattan Esmonde was born on 27 March 1875.1 He was the son of Sir John Esmonde, 10th Bt. and Louisa Grattan.2 He died on 21 December 1908 at age 33, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the South African Constabulary.1

     Louisa Ellice Benedicta Grattan Esmonde was born on 1 September 1871.1 She was the daughter of Sir John Esmonde, 10th Bt. and Louisa Grattan.2 She married Colonel Henry Lionel Pilkington on 28 June 1896.1 She died on 24 August 1936 at age 64, leaving issue.1
     From 28 June 1896, her married name became Pilkington.

Colonel Henry Lionel Pilkington1

     He lived at Tore, County Westmeath, IrelandG.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 21st Hussars.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1
