     Captain Charles Kinnaird Johnstone-Gordon was born on 25 September 1806.2 He was the son of James Raymond Johnstone of Alva and Mary Elizabeth Cholmeley.2 He married Elizabeth Gordon, daughter of Francis Gordon of Craig, in May 1838.2 He died on 2 January 1869 at age 62.2
     He was given the name of Charles Kinnaird-Gordon Johnstone at birth.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the Honourable East India Company's Navy.2 In 1857 his name was legally changed to Charles Kinnaird-Gordon Johnstone-Gordon on inheriting the Craig and Kincardine estates from his father-in-law.2 He was awarded the Knight, Order of the Lion and Sun of Persia.2

     Anne Elizabeth Augusta Johnstone-Gordon was the daughter of Captain Charles Kinnaird Johnstone-Gordon and Elizabeth Gordon.2 She married Lt.-Col. Sir Robert Smythe Muir Mackenzie of Delvine, 4th Bt., son of Sir John William Pitt Muir Mackenzie of Delvine, 2nd Bt. and Sophia Matilda Johnstone, on 17 October 1872.1 She died on 29 April 1908.1 She was also reported to have died on 28 April 1908.2
     From 17 October 1872, her married name became Muir Mackenzie.

     Sir Robert Cecil Muir Mackenzie of Delvine, 5th Bt. was born on 17 October 1891.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir Robert Smythe Muir Mackenzie of Delvine, 4th Bt. and Anne Elizabeth Augusta Johnstone-Gordon.2 He married Kate Brenda Blodwen Jones, daughter of Henry Jones, on 20 October 1914.1 He died on 12 April 1918 at age 26, killed in action.1
     He graduated from Jesus College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1913 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 5th Battalion Durham Light Infantry.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Muir Mackenzie, of Delvine, co. Perth [U.K., 1805] on 2 February 1918.1
