     Sir James Richardson of Smeaton, 8th Bt. was the son of George Richardson and Jean Watson.2 He died on 24 November 1788, unmarried.1

     Sir George Richardson of Smeaton, 9th Bt. was the son of George Richardson and Jean Watson.2 He married Mary Cooper, daughter of David Cooper.1 He died on 11 December 1792.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Honourable East India Company naval service.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Richardson, of Pitfour Castle, co. Perth [N.S., 1630] on 24 November 1788.1 He lived at Westminster, London, EnglandG.1

     Sir George Preston Richardson of Smeaton, 10th Bt. was born legitimated by his parent's subsequent marriage before 1783.1 He was the son of Sir George Richardson of Smeaton, 9th Bt. and Mary Cooper.2 He died on 21 October 1803, from wounds received in action, unmarried.1
     He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Richardson, of Pitfour Castle, co. Perth [N.S., 1630] on 11 December 1792.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 64th Foot.1 He fought in the Capture of St. Lucia on 22 June 1803.1

     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 17th Native Infantry.1 He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Richardson, of Pitfour Castle, co. Perth [N.S., 1630] on 21 October 1803.1 He lived on 8 November 1804 wounds received in action, unmarried.1

     Sir John Charles Richardson of Pitfour, 12th Bt. was born legitimated by his parent's subsequent marriage circa 1785.1 He was the son of Sir George Richardson of Smeaton, 9th Bt. and Mary Cooper.2 He died on 12 April 1821, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Richardson, of Pitfour Castle, co. Perth [N.S., 1630] on 8 November 1804.1 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 On his death, the baronetcy became dormant until 1837.1

John Richardson1

     John Richardson was the son of George Richardson and Jean Watson.2 He died in 1801, without issue.1
     He was admitted to Middle Temple entitled to practise as a barrister.1 In 1791 he denied his nephews' legitimacy and assumed the baronetcy.1
