     Sir James Ramsay, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Gilbert Ramsay, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Blair. He married Christian Ogilvy, daughter of Sir Thomas Ogilvy and Lady Patricia Ruthven.1 He died in 1730.
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Ramsay, of Bamff, co. Perth [N.S., 1666] circa 1686.1

     Friedrich III Herzog von Sachsen-Gotha was born on 14 April 1699. He was the son of Friedrich II Herzog von Sachsen-Gotha-Altenburg and Magdalena Augusta von Anhalt-Zerbst. He married Luise Dorothea von Sachsen-Meiningen, daughter of Ernst Ludwig I Herzog von Sachsen-Meiningen and Dorothea Marie von Sachsen-Gotha, on 17 September 1729. He died on 10 March 1772 at age 72.
     He was a member of the House of Wettin. He gained the title of Herzog von Sachsen-Gotha.

     Ernst Ludwig I Herzog von Sachsen-Meiningen was born on 7 October 1672. He was the son of Bernard I Herzog von Sachsen-Meiningen and Marie Hedwig von Hessen-Darmstadt. He married, firstly, Dorothea Marie von Sachsen-Gotha, daughter of Friedrich I Herzog von Sachsen-Gotha-Altenburg and Magdalena Sibylle Prinzessin von Sachsen-Weissenfels, on 19 September 1704. He married, secondly, Elisabeth Sophie von Hohenzollern, daughter of Friedrich Wilhelm Kurfürst von Brandenburg and Dorothea Sophie zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, on 3 June 1714. He died on 24 November 1724 at age 52.
     He gained the title of Herzog von Sachsen-Meiningen.
