     Nora Kathleen Cole-Hamilton was born in 1904.2 She was the daughter of Major William Moore Cole-Hamilton and Ada Beatrice Huddle.1 She married, firstly, Carl Rudolf Baltzar von Braun, son of Carl Gustaf Johan von Braun, on 15 April 1926.1 She and Carl Rudolf Baltzar von Braun were divorced in 1944.1 She married, secondly, John Matthew Shufflebotham, son of John Plant Shufflebotham, on 12 September 1944.1
     From 15 April 1926, her married name became von Braun. From 12 September 1944, her married name became Shufflebotham.1

     He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Battalion, Royal Irish Fusiliers.1 He fought in the Boer War in 1901.1
