     Leslie St. Leger Blakeney was born on 13 April 1890.1 He was the son of Reverend William Purdon Blakeney and Elizabeth Adaline Wilson.1 He died on 28 March 1915 at age 24, unmarried, he drowned when the SS Falaha was torpedoed off Liverpool.1
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, EnglandG.1 He was commissioned in 1910, in the service of the Lancashire Fusiliers.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War in 1914, with the Togoland Force in West Africa.1

     Lieutenant John Blakeney was born circa 1789.1 He was the son of Lieutenant John Edward Blakeney and Frances Bradley.1 He died in 1815, killed in action, executed at Verdun, FranceG.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 20 May 1816.1
     He was commissioned on 13 November 1804 aged 15.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 68th Royal Marine Light Infantry.1 He fought in the Napoleonic Wars, he was taken POW by the French and executed.1

     Lieutenant Thomas Blakeney was born circa 1793.1 He was the son of Lieutenant John Edward Blakeney and Frances Bradley.1 He died in 1833, without issue.1
     He was commissioned on 5 October 1808 with the rank of aged 15.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 77th Royal Marine Light Infantry.1
