     Lt.-Col. Arthur Goring was born on 25 January 1907.2 He was the son of Major Alan Goring and Violet Isabel Onslow.1 He died on 16 April 1982 at age 75 at Camden, London, England, without issue.1,3,4
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He fought in the North-West Frontier between 1936 and 1939.2 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Probyn's Horse, Indian Cavalry.2 He was Assistant Commissioner-in-Chief of St. John Ambulance in 1957.2

     Lt.-Col. Harold Goring was born on 8 June 1903.1 He was the son of Major Alan Goring and Violet Isabel Onslow.2 He married, firstly, Mary Frances Eleanor Woodruffe, daughter of Captain Hamilton Augustus Woodruffe, on 29 June 1929.1 He married, secondly, Joan Henrietta Secretan, daughter of Spencer Domett Secretan, in 1975.1 He died in 1990.1
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Sussex Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Baluch Regiment.1

     Mary Frances Eleanor Woodruffe was the daughter of Captain Hamilton Augustus Woodruffe.2 She married Lt.-Col. Harold Goring, son of Major Alan Goring and Violet Isabel Onslow, on 29 June 1929.2 She died on 1 February 1975.2
     She was awarded the Kaisir-i-Hind Medal.2 From 29 June 1929, her married name became Goring.1

     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Millfield School, Street, Somerset, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Sussex Regiment.2 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)2

Ellen Stager1

     Ellen Stager was the daughter of General Anson Stager.1 She married James Arthur Wellington Foley Butler, 4th Marquess of Ormonde, son of John Butler, 2nd Marquess of Ormonde and Frances Jane Paget, on 8 March 1887.1 She died on 17 June 1951.2
     From 8 March 1887, her married name became Butler.1 After her marriage, Ellen Stager was styled as Marchioness of Ormonde on 26 October 1919.
