     Jean Lena Annette Conan Doyle was born on 21 December 1912 at Crowborough, Sussex, England.2 She was the daughter of Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle and Jean Leckie.1,2 She married Air Vice-Marshal Sir Geoffrey Rhodes Bromet, son of George Albert Bromet and Ellen Isabel Robinson, in 1965.1 She died on 18 November 1997 at age 84 at London, England.2
     She gained the rank of officer in 1939 in the Auxiliary Air Force.2 She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1948.2 She was awarded the Air Efficiency Award (A.E.) in 1949.2 She was appointed Dame Commander, Order of the British Empire (D.B.E.) in 1963.2 She was Director of the Women's Royal Air Force between 1963 and 1966.2 From 1965, her married name became Bromet.1
