     Katharine Isabel Monro was born on 27 March 1903 at Kingston, Surrey, England.2 She was the daughter of Archibald Vere Monro and Isabel Mary Young.1 She married George Gillespie Beamish, son of Lt.-Col. Alten Augustus William Beamish and May Ross Gillepsie, on 26 April 1930.1
     From 26 April 1930, her married name became Beamish.1 As of 1976, Katharine Isabel Monro lived at Wren Hill, Leyswood, Groombridge, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, EnglandG.1

     Marshal of the RAF Arthur William Tedder, 1st Baron Tedder was born on 11 July 1890.1 He was the son of Sir Arthur John Tedder and Emily Charlotte Bryson.2 He married, firstly, Rosalinde Maclardy, daughter of William McIntyre Maclardy, in 1915.1 He married, secondly, Marie de Seton, daughter of Sir Bruce Gordon Seton of Abercorn, 9th Bt. and Elma Armstrong, on 26 October 1943.2 He died on 3 June 1967 at age 76.1
     He was educated at Whitgift School, South Croydon, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He gained the rank of officer in the Dorset Regiment.1 He was with the Colonial Service in 1914 at Fiji.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Flying Corps.1 He was with the Constantinople Expediontary Force between 1922 and 1923.1 He was Commanding Officer of the Air Armament School, Eastchurch between 1932 and 1934.1 He gained the rank of Air Commodore in 1934 in the Royal Air Force.1 He was Director of Training, Air Ministry between 1934 and 1936.1 He was AOC of the RAF Far East between 1936 and 1938.1 He gained the rank of Air Vice Marshal in 1937.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1937.1 He was Director-General R&D between 1938 and 1940.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.1 He was Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the RAF Middle East in 1940.1 He gained the rank of Air Marshal in 1941.1 He was AOC-in-C of the Middle East between 1941 and 1942.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1942.1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.) in 1942.1 He was Commander-in-Chief of the Mediterranean Allied Air Forces in 1943.1 He was Deputy Supreme Commander of the British and U.S. Expeditionary Force in 1944.1 He gained the rank of Air Chief Marshal in 1945.1 He gained the rank of Marshal of the Royal Air Force in 1945.1 In 1945 Freedom Manchester , London and Edinburgh 1946.1 He was Chief of Air Staff between 1946 and 1949.1 He was created 1st Baron Tedder, of Glengulin, co.      Isabel Mary Young was born in 1870.2 She was the daughter of Sir William Mackworth Young and Isabel Maria Elliott.1,3 She married Archibald Vere Monro, son of Reverend Horace George Monro and Margaret Isabella Hamilton-Duthie, on 21 April 1897.3 She died on 14 December 1929.3
     From 21 April 1897, her married name became Monro.
