     Captian William Beamish was the son of Richard Beamish and Mary Townsend.1 He married Alice Bernard, daughter of Major North Ludlow Bernard and Rose Echlin, on 29 September 1751.1 He died in February 1772.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He lived at Willsgrove, Enniskeane, County Cork, IrelandG.1
