     Vice-Adm. Sir Patrick Uniacke Bayly was born on 4 August 1914.1 He was the son of Lancelot Francis Sanderson Bayly and Eileen Maude Bayly.1 He married Moyra Gourlay Jardine, daughter of Robert Gourlay Jardine, on 3 April 1946.1 He died on 1 May 1998 at age 83.2
     He was educated at AravonG.1 He joined the Royal Navy in 1932.1 He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.) in 19431 with two bars added in 1944.1 He fought in the Korean War.1 1957 Vice-Adm. Sir Patrick Uniacke Bayly passed the Imperial Defence College, London, EnglandG.1 He was the Chief of Staff of the Mediterranean in 1962.1 He was the Flag Officer of the Sea Training in 1963.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1964.1 He was the Admiral President between 1965 and 1967 at Royal Naval College, Greenwich, London, EnglandG.1 He was the Chief of Staff of the Command Navy South (COMNAVSOUTH) between 1967 and 1970.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1968.1 He retired from the military, with the rank of Vice-Admiral, late of the Royal Navy.1 As of 1976, Vice-Adm. Sir Patrick Uniacke Bayly lived at Dunning House, Liphook, Hampshire, EnglandG.1

     Moyra Gourlay Jardine was born circa 1923.2 She was the daughter of Robert Gourlay Jardine.1 She married Vice-Adm. Sir Patrick Uniacke Bayly, son of Lancelot Francis Sanderson Bayly and Eileen Maude Bayly, on 3 April 1946.1 She died on 8 September 2014.2
     From 3 April 1946, her married name became Bayly.1
