     James Barry was born on 15 January 1660.1 He was the son of Richard Barry and Mary Haughton.1 He married, firstly, unknown daughter Boothby, daughter of Sir William Boothby.1 He married, secondly, Anne Meredyth, daughter of Charles Meredyth and Judith Savage, on 19 October 1698.1 He died in April 1725 at age 65.1
     He held the office of Prothonotary of the Court of Common Pleas [Ireland] in 1693.1 He held the office of Keeper of the Great Roll of the Exchequer, jointly with his cousin, Paul Barry.1 He lived at Newtown Barry, County Wexford, IrelandG.1

Judith Barry1

     Judith Barry was baptised in 1699.1 She was the daughter of James Barry and Anne Meredyth.1 She married John Maxwell, 1st Baron Farnham, son of Reverend Henry Maxwell and Anne Stewart, in June 1719.2 She died on 5 April 1771.1
     From June 1719, her married name became Maxwell.2 After her marriage, Judith Barry was styled as Baroness Farnham on 6 May 1756.
