     Hoysted Bagott Laurenson Barton was born on 3 October 1861.¹ He was the son of Isaac Barton and Charlotte Hoysted.¹ He married Margaret Elizabeth Mitchell, daughter of Henry Mitchell, in 1900.¹ He died on 1 July 1950 at age 88.¹
     He lived at Ballinfrase, Rathdowney, County Laois, Ireland^G, inheirited from his uncle, William Barton, in 1894.¹
