     Captain Bertram James Richardson Barton was born on 23 February 1891.1 He was the son of Captain Charles Robert Barton and Henrietta Martha Mervyn Richardson.1 He married Anne Vaughan Hart, daughter of George Vaughan Hart and Maude Frances Annette Curran, on 14 May 1952.1 He died on 19 February 1960 at age 68.1
     He was educated at Warwick School, Warwick, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War, as a Lieutenant with the Royal Field Artillery.1 He was a member of the State and Exeuctive Council between 1934 and 1940 at Jahore, MalaysiaG.1 He fought in the Second World War, as a Captain with the Home Guard.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) in 1944.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) in 1945.1 He held the office of High Sheriff for County Fermanagh in 1946.1

Anne Vaughan Hart1

     Anne Vaughan Hart is the daughter of George Vaughan Hart and Maude Frances Annette Curran.1,2 She married Captain Bertram James Richardson Barton, son of Captain Charles Robert Barton and Henrietta Martha Mervyn Richardson, on 14 May 1952.1
     She graduated with a Master of Science (M.Sc.)1 From 14 May 1952, her married name became Barton.1 As of 1976, Anne Vaughan Hart lived at Eden House, Rosbeg, County Donegal, IrelandG.1

     From 27 October 1897, her married name became Rathborne.1
