     Harriet Johnston was the daughter of Baptist Johnston.1 She married Gustavus Barton, son of William Barton and Frances Murray, on 7 December 1773.1
     From 7 December 1773, her married name became Barton.1

     Major Baptist Johnston Barton was born on 21 March 1775.1 He was the son of Gustavus Barton and Harriet Johnston.1 He married Catherine Babington, daughter of Ralph Babington and Rebecca Scanlon, on 29 October 1815.1 He died in 1819.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the 64th Foot.1 He lived at Drumsallagh, County Monaghan, IrelandG.1 He lived at Spring Hill, County Tyrone, IrelandG.1

     From 29 October 1815, her married name became Barton.1 Her married name became Smith.1

Ralph Babington1

     Ralph Babington was the son of Humphrey Babington and Catherine Hamilton.2 He married Rebecca Scanlon, daughter of James Scanlan and Anne Babington, in May 1789.2 He died in February 1806.2
     He lived at Greenfort, County Donegal, IrelandG.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Donegal in 1794.2

     Baptist Johnston Barton was born on 30 November 1816.1 He was the son of Major Baptist Johnston Barton and Catherine Babington.1 He married Maria MacLaughlin, daughter of William MacLaughlin, on 21 June 1842.1 He died on 3 August 1851 at age 34.1
     He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Greenfort, County Donegal, IrelandG.1
