     Barbara Wauchope is the daughter of Andrew Wauchope of Niddrie and Margaret Gilmour.1 She married Sir George Seton of Garleton, 2nd Bt., son of Sir John Seton of Garleton, 1st Bt. and Isabel Home, before 1685.1 She and Sir George Seton of Garleton, 2nd Bt. were divorced in 1705.1
     From before 1685, her married name became Seton.1

Sir John Gilmour of Craigmillar1

     Sir John Gilmour of Craigmillar was baptised in 1605. He was the son of John Gilmour.2 He married, thirdly, Margaret Murray, daughter of Sir Alexander Murray of Blackbarony, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Cockburn.2 He died on 14 August 1671.2,3
     He held the office of President of the Court of Session.4 He was a practising Adcocate in 1628.2 He was appointed Knight in 1650/51.2 He purchased Craigmillar Castle in 1660 from Sir George Preston, Bt.5 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Edinburgh between 1661 and 1670. He held the office of President of the College of Justice between 1661 and 1670. He lived at Craigmillar, Midlothian, ScotlandG.4 He had 18 other children.

     George Seton was born in 1685.1 He was the son of Sir George Seton of Garleton, 2nd Bt. and Barbara Wauchope.1 He died on 9 March 1769, unmarried.1
     He fought in the Battle of Preston on 13 November 1715, where he was captured.1 In 1716 he was attainted.1
