     Sir Patrick Laurence Delaval Cotter, 7th Bt. was born on 21 November 1941.1 He was the son of Laurence Stopford Llewellyn Cotter and Grace Mary Downing.2 He married Janet Potter, daughter of George Potter, in 1967.1 He died on 11 January 2023 at age 81.3
     He was educated at Blundell's School, Tiverton, Devon, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1 He was an antique dealer, restorer and collector.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Cotter, of Rockforest, co. Cork [I., 1763] on 2 April 2001.2
