     Joseph Josias Du Pré Alexander was born in 1771.1 He was the son of Robert Alexander and Anne McCullogh.1 He married Mary Bracken, daughter of Reverend Thomas Bracken, on 1 February 1808.1 He died on 20 August 1839.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Old Sarum.1 He was Director, East India Company (E.I.C.)1

     Captain Caledon Du Pré Alexander was born on 16 November 1817.1 He was the son of Joseph Josias Du Pré Alexander and Mary Bracken.1 He married Caroline Ewing, daughter of James Ewing, on 11 March 1843.1 He died on 18 July 1884 at age 66.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 1st Life Guards.1 He lived at Auberies, Essex, EnglandG.1
