     Ambrose Going was born in October 1785 at Ballyphilip, County Tipperary, Ireland.2 He was the son of William Going and Mary White.2 He married Margaret Pennefather, daughter of Lt. Col. Richard Pennefather and Anne Jacob, on 8 February 1811 at County Tipperary, Ireland.3,2 He died on 11 August 1857 at age 71 at Ballyphilip, County Tipperary, Ireland.2
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Ballyphilip, County Tipperary, IrelandG.1

     Lieutenant Samuel Allen Adams was born on 1 March 1847.1 He was the son of John Hervey Adams and Elizabeth Frances Going.1 He married Frances Dorothea Preston, daughter of Reverend Decimus William Preston, on 13 June 1871.1 He died on 29 August 1927 at age 80.1
     He was educated at Portora Royal School, Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, IrelandG.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Tipperary Militia Artillery.1 He lived at Northlands, County Cavan, IrelandG.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) in 1921.1
