     Lt.-Col. Augustus John Francis Reynolds-Moreton was born on 10 July 1777.¹ He was the son of Captain Francis Reynolds-Moreton, 3rd Baron Ducie of Tortworth and Mary Provis.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Regiment of Foot.¹

     Sarah Jodrell was the daughter of Gilbert Jodrell.¹ She married, firstly, Robert Child before 1791.¹ She married, secondly, Captain Francis Reynolds-Moreton, 3rd Baron Ducie of Tortworth, son of Francis Reynolds and Hon. Elizabeth Moreton, on 18 June 1791.¹ She died on 23 May 1793.¹
     From before 1791, her married name became Child.¹ After her marriage, Sarah Jodrell was styled as Baroness Ducie of Tortworth on 18 June 1791. From 18 June 1791, her married name became Reynolds-Moreton.¹
