     William Odell Scanlan was born in 1799.1 He was the son of Michael Scanlan and Frances Ann Odell.1 He married Aphrosia Brown, daughter of Captain John Brown and Constance Odell, in 1834.1 He died in 1859.1
     He held the office of High Sheriff of County Limerick.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1

     Aphrosia Brown was the daughter of Captain John Brown and Constance Odell.1 She married, firstly, James Fisher.1 She married, secondly, William Odell Scanlan, son of Michael Scanlan and Frances Ann Odell, in 1834.1 She died before 1912.2
     Her married name became Fisher.1 From 1834, her married name became Scanlan.1

     John Odell was the son of William Odell and Anne Hunt.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Fennell, daughter of Robert Fennell, circa 19 July 1748.1 He married, secondly, Jane Baylee, daughter of John Baylee, on 28 August 1751.1 He died between October 1759 and December 1761.1 His will (dated 16 October 1759) was proven (by probate) on 11 December 1761.1
     He held the office of High Sheriff of County Limerick in 1751.1 He lived at Bealdurogy, County Limerick, IrelandG.1

     William Odell was the son of Major John Odell and Elizabeth Cane.1,2 He married Anne Hunt, daughter of John Hunt.1 He died before October 1722.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered to his widow on 19 October 1722.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Bealdurogy, County Limerick, IrelandG.1

     Major John Odell was born in 1620.2 He was the son of William Odell and Jane Mervyn.2,3 He married Elizabeth Cane in 1681.3,2 He died between February 1699 and April 1700.1 His will (dated 19 February 1699) was proven (by probate) on 20 April 1700.3
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Limerick in 1665.3 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Limerick from 1678 to 1679.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Askeaton Borough in 1692.3
