     From 1874, her married name became Cooke.

     Arthur Charles Darwin Cooke was born in 1876.¹ He was the son of Charles Edward Cooke and Marian Elizabeth Purchas.² He married Muriel Horrocks, daughter of Leonard Brownlow Horrocks, in 1913.¹ He died on 23 August 1963.²
     He fought in the First World War.² He gained the rank of Captain in the New Zealand Expeditionary Force.¹
