     William Pigott was the son of Reverend William Pigott and Dorothy Cotes.1 He married Sophia Wolseley, daughter of Sir William Wolseley, 5th Bt. and Ann Fieldhouse, in 1768.2 He died on 26 February 1802.
     He lived at Doddershall, Buckinghamshire, England.

     Sophia Wolseley was baptised on 31 March 1749.2 She was the daughter of Sir William Wolseley, 5th Bt. and Ann Fieldhouse. She married William Pigott, son of Reverend William Pigott and Dorothy Cotes, in 1768.2 She died in 1801.3
     From 1768, her married name became Pigott. She lived at Doddershall, Buckinghamshire, England.2

     George Grenville Wadesforde Pigott was born in 1796.2 He was the son of William Pigott and Anne King.1 He married, firstly, Charlotte Long, daughter of Edward Beeston Long and Mary Thomlinson, on 26 October 1822 at Broadwater, Sussex, EnglandG.3 He married, secondly, Charlotte Lloyd in 1838.1 He died on 4 January 1865.3

     Vice-Admiral William Harvey Pigott was born in 1848.2 He was the son of George Grenville Wadesforde Pigott and Charlotte Lloyd.3 He married Edith Lloyd, daughter of Richard Thomas Lloyd, in 1886.3 He died on 1 September 1924 at Doddershall Park, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.4
     He fought in the Egyptian Campaign in 1882.4 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1882 in the Royal Navy, aboard H.M.S. Monarch.4 He lived at Doddershall Park, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.1

     Editha Ivy Pigott was the daughter of Vice-Admiral William Harvey Pigott and Edith Lloyd.2,3 She married Captain Gordon Hargreaves Brown, son of Sir Alexander Hargreaves Brown, 1st Bt. and Henrietta Agnes Terrell Blandy, on 18 October 1910 at Guard's Chapel, Wellington Barracks, London, EnglandG.1,4 She died on 8 February 1964.1
     From 18 October 1910, her married name became Brown.2 On 9 June 1922 she received the rank of a baronet's widow.1 On 6 May 1925 her name was legally changed to Editha Ivy Pigott-Brown by Royal Licence.1

Captain Gordon Hargreaves Brown1

     Captain Gordon Hargreaves Brown was born on 31 July 1880.1 He was the son of Sir Alexander Hargreaves Brown, 1st Bt. and Henrietta Agnes Terrell Blandy.2 He married Editha Ivy Pigott, daughter of Vice-Admiral William Harvey Pigott and Edith Lloyd, on 18 October 1910 at Guard's Chapel, Wellington Barracks, London, EnglandG.1,3 He died on 29 October 1914 at age 34, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Coldstream Guards.1
